This is the product of an experimental vineyard planted in the mountains above the Ojai Valley. The rough and dry terrain is not hospitable to the insects and allows for organic farming. Six years of farming this small plot and we were able to harvest enough organic Syrah and Viognier to produce two barrels of wine. The fruit was so intense we decided to cellar it for an additional year in barrel. Two years in barrel allowed the uniqueness of this site to speak. It is rich in dark blue fruits, cedar, and baking spices with an opulent mouth feel and fine tannins. This is a wine 9 years in the making.
